Registered Nurse
Irvine Sandstra is a Registered Nurse certified in reproductive health working primarily with the STOP HIV/AIDS Team and provides testing, education and referral services in sexual health management through agency partnerships with Qmunity, Health Initiative for Men, and Center for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. He has a masters from Maastricht University Netherlands in Public Health with concentration in Health Education and Promotion. His work sites include Bute St. Clinic, Vancouver-based Health Initiative for Men Health Centres, at the local baths, and in online social/sexual networking environments. He is employed by both Vancouver Coastal Health and BC Centre for Disease Control.
